A tundra is a vast and treeless land that is very cold. Most tundras are located in the northern hemisphere. The average temperature in the summer is 37-60 degrees Fahrenheit, and 18 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. The average amount of precipitation is 6-10 inches.
Some animals are the arctic fox, polar bear, snowy owl, caribou, and the musk ox. Some plants are willows, caribou moss, and Pasquale flowers.
