Deciduous forest
The thick, deciduous forest has an average temperature of 50 degrees fahrenheit. The amount of rainfall in a deciduous forest averages from 30 to 60 inches each year. Some animals in a deciduous forest include the american bald eagle, duckbill platypus, least weasel, white-tailed deer and the eastern chipmunk. Plants in a deciduous forest are the lady fern, the white oak, and the white birch.
Taigas
The taiga is the biome of the needleleaf forest. The summer average temperature is 7 to 21 degrees celsuis, and the winter average temperaature is 54 to -1 degrees celsious. The average amount of rainfall in a taiga is 30 to 85 centimeters.Taiga animals include the bobcat, redwolf, graywolf, baldeagle and the river otter. Tropical Rainforests
A tropical rainforest is a wet, warm forest thick of tall trees. They have an average of 50 to 260 inches of rain each year! Temperatures average 93 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Scientests have counted 100 to 300 species of animals in the tropical rainforests, some of these include the chimpanzee, Bengal tiger, harpy eagle, orangutan, and the vampire bat. Some plants include Bengal bamboo, coconut trees, and strangler figs.
